so why the lily?
the lily flower has so much significance in my life + the Bible, it's actually found about 15 times in Scripture. It resembles Jesus in so many different ways- one of those being humility. If you notice, the lily is one of the tallest flowers, yet it bows its head. Just as Jesus, the Holiest of Holies, bows his head humbly in reverence to the Father. Matthew 20:28 says that Jesus came to serve and not be served- to serve in humility, generosity, compassion, and love. This is my prayer for my business and for my life. To serve and to not be served, to use my gifts in a humble and generous and loving spirit, just as Jesus does and continues to.

If you're reading this, it means you're possibly hiring me soon to create with you over the things you treasure most. or who you treasure most in the moments you treasure most. whichever the subject may be- my heartbeat is to document with the utmost care & love for you. to photograph & escape into someone's world for a moment is my all time favorite hobby and is something I dont take lightly. my idea of success is growing a clientele that values relationship-- I long to be more than just another photographer, but more so a friend that you call to bring my camera along when special moments are happening in your life! I want to celebrate with you, laugh, cry, & learn with you, and create a tangible lasting gift for you.
these special moments tend to consist of weddings, families, couples, newborns, gatherings, children's birthdays, seniors, and numerous other forms. I am an old soul to the core which easily translates into the work I produce. I'd say my style is vintage, earthy, natural, warm & thoughtful-- which are characteristics that to me make the photo all the more emotion-filled. I am forever inspired by old imperfect film, aged + candid family photographs that cause stories to unfold at family gatherings, timeless bridal beauty from your great-grandmother, those special newborn photos taken in moments that are so very fleeting, and all the tenderness that life may bring.
I am not a photographer who relies on pinterest to pose you in the perfect spot, but rather someone who strives to make an enviroment that is organic for movements & laughs to naturally happen. After all, your story is a beautiful story to tell as it is, and I am passionate about bringing that out in you!
